Who this covers

CellierBook is a reservation service operated and registered in Canada. Contact: contact@cellierbook.com.

Venues hold a CellierBook account.

Guests make a reservation through the reservation link the venue shares. The reservation is made with the venue. See If you made a reservation below.

What is collected

From venues: account holder name and contact details, venue details, login credentials and billing information. Payment card details are handled by the payment processor and are not stored by CellierBook.

Through a venue's reservation link: the name, and the email address or telephone number, given when making a reservation, with the date, time and number of people.

Automatically: basic technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages visited.

Why it is collected

To create and administer accounts. To take and confirm reservations. To send transactional email such as confirmations and password resets. To take payment. To provide support. To keep the service secure, and to operate, maintain and improve it.

Where it is held

On servers located in Canada. Some third-party providers may process limited information outside Canada in the course of providing their service.

Who it is shared with

Third-party providers are used to run the service — hosting and database, payment processing, and transactional email. Each receives only what is needed to perform its function. Information may also be disclosed where required by law.

How long it is kept

Venue account information is kept for as long as the account exists, and afterwards where required. Reservation records remain available to the venue whether or not a subscription is active. A venue may request deletion of its data.

If you made a reservation

A reservation is made with the venue, not with CellierBook. The venue decides what information to ask for and how it is used, and the venue's own privacy policy applies. Questions, corrections and deletion requests should go to the venue directly.

Rights of an account holder

An account holder may request access to the personal information held about them, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Requests go to contact@cellierbook.com. Identity may need to be confirmed before a request is acted on. Responses are made within the time required by applicable law.

Cookies

Cookies are used to keep an account holder signed in and to operate the site, and to understand how the site is used. Where consent is required, it is requested.
